Now that the husband and I are back from our little trip across the county and back we have some changes to make to our lifestyle. From December 25 until January 9 we were eating out for every meal. Although we tried at times to eat well and continue running, we failed quite miserably.
Our goal: To get back into the shape we were in before the holidays hit
Deadline: March 16
To reach this goal we are again instituting the grocery challenge, where we are limited to spending only $25 a week on food and are limited in how many times we go out to eat. We’ll also be abiding by the rule of no drinking during the week. (Of course, when people are visiting us we get food for them and to ensure they don’t think we’re crazy).
**I will admit that the other night we did go out and spend $100 on groceries but we also haven’t been home in quite some time. I mentioned to the husband while we were paying that he should think of all the money we saved on groceries while we’ve been away – he just laughed, being that we were eating out instead of buying groceries.

i’ve been trying to work out 3 or more times a week, i made myself a promise i was going to lose 15 or 20 lbs before i turned 50. don’t think i’m gonna make it.(have almost 3 weeks left). hopefully this grocery challenge will the cheating!
