Merry Christmas

December 25, 2007

In just a few hours the husband and I will be frantically running around the house finishing up what needs to be done before we leave for the airport (most of the frantically coming from my side of the house).   The drive to the airport will be filled with our singing;  singing at the top of our lungs to the Christmas music on the radio, because as the husband has said to me 5 times so far this morning (we’ve been up for 1.5 hours and I have been on the treadmill for .5 of those hours) – this is the last day we’ll be able to listen to Christmas music until next Thanksgiving!  After some quality time in the Philadelphia airport we’ll be the yuppies who get on first because we’re seats 1D and 1F (first class upgrade – thank you US Airways, I promise I’ll get you a Christmas present next year).

6 hours and 36 minutes later . . . . .

We’ll be in San Francisco covered in bows and ribbon, ready to be picked up!  The bows and ribbon are because we ARE the presents, get it?  Hehe.  Hey, we’re flying across the country, you really think we’re bringing presents, too?

(Just kidding Erin, don’t you worry, we have a whole suitcase filled with pressies!!)
